Eos knowledgebases are prepared using Sage Estimating 19 and Microsoft SQL Server 2016. The file sent for installation is a Microsoft SQL Server back up file (.BAK). After the file is restored to the target SQL Server instance, Sage Estimating Management Console should be executed. This will upgrade the knowledgebase to the target environment versions of Sage Estimating and SQL Server and if this is a new installation of the knowledgebase, the activation code must be entered in the Sage Estimating Management Console.
If the target system has a Sage Estimating version before 19 or SQL Server version before 2016. Do not restore the BAK to the target machine. It cannot be downgraded. Upgrade the versions of Sage Estimating or SQL Server before restoring the BAK.
